Learned inside a plant
NexGenus began as the offshore estimating and detailing team of a Melbourne frame and truss manufacturer. The first detailers learned wall frames, roof trusses and floor systems in the plant's own nail-plate software, with the factory manager next door and the senior detailers checking every job before release. That is still how we work.
We know a plant does not want a drawing; it wants a job that cuts, presses and stacks without a question from the floor. We also know that a trained detailer is the asset, which is why every detailer on your account sits on a published progression ladder with sponsored certification — and why the team leader on your account stays on it.
What you are probably dealing with
- Detailing backlog in the season. Peaks you cannot staff, and quotes that wait.
- Training, then losing, detailers. Six to twelve months to productivity, then they move on.
- Working across systems. Detailing partners that only work in one nail-plate system.
- Quality on the floor. Jobs that come back from the saw with questions.

Service
Your software, your licence, your rules
We detail in MiTek Sapphire, Pryda Build and Multinail Cornerstone, on your licence, in your environment. Plants that run more than one system get one detailing partner across all of them.
We do not expect to win a plant with a brochure. We expect to win it with twenty wall panel drawings your senior detailer approves.
Your questions
Do you work on our licence or yours?
Yours, on a virtual desktop inside your environment. Your files never leave your server, and your software vendor sees your normal seat count.
Who checks the work?
Our senior detailer, then your senior detailer or design manager. Nothing goes to the floor without your release. We report first-pass yield monthly.
What about girders, hips and the awkward jobs?
Anything within the certified software envelope and AS 1684 is in scope. Non-standard spans, wind classifications outside the standard range and engineered members outside published tables are flagged at intake and done under your engineer.
What is the pilot?
Twenty wall panel drawings or a set of roof layouts from your live queue, to your rules, fixed fee, checked by your senior detailer.
Can you help us convert estimators to detailers?
Yes — we do it internally and the accredited nail-plate pathway names estimators as a standard entry cohort. Ask us how we stagger conversions so estimating capacity is not lost.

Tell us which system you run. We come back with a fixed fee and a turnaround for a pilot batch from your live queue.
