Learned from the buyer's side
Most offshore providers were built by outsourcing companies looking for an industry. NexGenus was built inside the industry, by a manufacturer that needed estimating and detailing capacity it could not hire in Melbourne.
The first team quoted and detailed wall frames, roof trusses and floor systems for the plant's own production line, checked by the plant's senior detailers, in the plant's own nail-plate software. That origin shapes everything. A price we will put in writing
Almost nobody in this market publishes what a managed technical seat costs. Ask us and we will put it in writing, with an honest saving rather than an inflated one.
Why it matters who owns the business
NexGenus is Australian owned, with Australian directors, an Australian head office and Australian review and sign-off on every technical deliverable. Your contract is with an Australian entity, governed by Australian law, and the person accountable for the work is in Melbourne.
That is not a marketing position; it is the structure that makes the model lawful and workable. Victoria's Professional Engineers Registration Act reaches services performed "in or for Victoria, regardless of location", and New South Wales requires regulated designs to be declared by a registered design practitioner. An offshore provider with no Australian principal cannot sit inside those regimes. We can, because the accountable practitioner and the reviewing engineer are here.
It also matters commercially. Australian ownership means Australian invoicing and GST, Australian privacy obligations we take on rather than pass to you, an Australian escalation path when something goes wrong, and someone who will get in a car and come to your office.
